1st Valentine's Day

On February 14th, 2013 - Emerson celebrated his first Valentine's Day.  He got lots of cards from friends and family.  My parents, Great Grandma Helen, Chuck, Emerson and myself celebrated the night the same as we did last year when we told Great Grandma Helen that we were pregnant.  We had a lovely dinner at Capri.  This was the first time Emerson was out at a restaurant.  He really did a great job and was such a good quite boy.  He even dressed up for the big night out!! LOOK AT THOSE PUMAS!! Thanks Uncle Wayne & Auntie Lexie for my sweet shoes!!

ENT Follow-up

On February 12th, 2013 - Emerson went for his follow-up hearing test. Of course he failed again. They said the machine couldn't even get a reading of any hearing with the left. I do not have confidence in that hearing test because it took her a bunch of times to get it to work. The ENT said since he seems like he is developing on track not to worry about anything and that it is still fluid that is trapped. I know everything will be fine with him but there are times I wonder if he really can hear me.... We go back in June for another appointment.

4 Month Pictures

On February 10th, 2013 - Emerson's 4 month Pictures. Taken by our good friends Auntie Lauren and Uncle Tim.  He is now 17 lb 6 oz, 26 inches long and 42 cm head size.

An Evening with His Godparents

On February 9th, 2013 - Emerson went to visit his Godparents Uncle Wayne and Auntie Lexie, while Chuck and I went out for dinner with my parents.  Uncle Wayne, Auntie Lexie and even the puppies had a great time with Emerson!  They hung out watching movies and taking pictures all night long.  Of course Emerson even left then a suprise in his diaper for them. 

1st Art Project on the IPAD!

On Feb 7th, 2013 - Emerson and daddy created his first art project on the IPAD.  Can we say the next Picasso!!

Holding the baba ALL by HIMSELF!!

On Feb 3rd, 2013 - Emerson decided that he wanted to hold the baba all by himself.  He is getting to be such a big boy already!!

On Feb 1st, 2013 - Emerson sits on his own!!! He's a little wobbly, but he looks good!! We are so very proud!!

Dad & Mom Down for the Count

On January 31st, 2013 - Both us became violently ill and were down for the count. First I got the stomach flu and had to leave work early by the end of the night we were fighting over the bathroom. Thank god for our mothers!!! My mom came over and watched Emerson that night so we wouldn't give him the flu. Chucks mom came to the rescue early the next morning. She took him to her house and they hung out for most of the day. Around dinner time we were back on our feet again!! Since Chuck and I have been together we have never both been that sick at the same time!!! We were so glad Emerson never got it!!

Emerson Flying!!

On January 29th, 2013 - Today was the first day that Chuck put Emerson on his shoulders!! They had a great time flying!!

Exhausted After Auntie Devin's House!

On Jan uary 28th, 2013 - We picked up Emerson from a overnight stay at Auntie Devin's house.  He was totally exhausted!! Must have had an awesome time!!

Sits in Highchair for 1st Time

On January 27th, 2013 - Today was the first time Emerson sat in a high chair. His milestone was achieved at Auntie Devin's house. He played with his flower toy and watched Auntie Devin cook dinner!! He was such a good boy!!!

1st Sleepover - Auntie Devin's House

On January 27th, 2013 - Emerson had his first sleepover in which he stayed with his Auntie Devin at her house.  They all had an amazing time and to our surprise Emerson slept as if he was at home.  His cousins absolutely loved playing with Emerson all night.  Auntie Devin had a dance session with the kids.  Will tried to tickle Emerson.  He slept with Auntie Devin that night, poor Uncle Bob got kicked out of bed to the couch.

1st Laugh

On January 22, 2013 - Emerson had his first real laugh.  Please do not mind the video.  Chuck was home alone and couldn't setup a good shot.  The most important thing is the sounds anyways.

Emerson's Tent!!

On January 18th, 2013 - We opened up Emerson's tent that Auntie Lauren and Uncle Tim got him.  He looks so small!!
