Bone Conduction Test

On December 5th, 2012 - We went back to Hinsdale Hospital to get Emerson's bone conduction test done on his ears.  This test tested the nerves of his ears to see if he would be able to hear.  Emerson had to be sleeping for this test. It was a real challenge to keep him up all morning for his test at 2:00pm.  My mom and Chuck went with.  We wanted my mom there to ask any questions that we may forget and just to understand terminology we might not understand.  The more ears the better!! We got into the testing room and Emerson did such a great job staying still when he was asleep.  Thankfully he was asleep for the test otherwise we would have had to put him under, which we were not willing to do with him being so young.  The results showed that he would be able to hear at 20 hertz which is normal hearing.  So we were very happy to hear that everything was fine with the nerves of his ears!! Thanks goodness!!
